So you can press F1 through F-whatever to select a crewmember. Is there any way to rearrange which key is assigned to which crew? It's easier for me to remember F1 is pilot, F2 is engines, F3 is weapon, F4 is shields. Obviously this can get switched around, like if I want to reassign a mantis to boarding combat and put a weak engi at his old station.
Not that the current system is wrong. I do fine with it. This would just be a convenience.

I think there currently is no such possibility. However when Advanced Edition comes out, it might be changed :)

If you really wanted to you could go into the options menu and change the key assignments. :)

Not exactly something you'd want to be doing during the game though, especially if you're looking to re-adjust them when you gain/lose/move crew.

BTW I agree kind of agree with you - there should at least be an option to bind keys to crew-members in-game (e.g. using CTRL while a crew member is selected), kind of like RTS games do. Even better would be if you could also assign a key to a small group of crew, such as your boarding party - that would be damn handy...
