Hi again, I have yet another problem and you guys have been pretty good at solving these.
Recently, Windows 7 was put on my computer and for some reason, FreeSpace 1 always runs... squished. I don't know how to really explain it, but a thin black bar is on the right side of the screen and everything in the game is squished to the left (I'm using a normal 4:3 monitor). I didn't have this problem with XP, and I've tried running FS1 in different compatibility modes, nothing worked. Any ideas?
I realize this is pretty vague, but I really don't know what other information to put here since all hardware in this computer is the same as it was before when FS1 displayed properly on it; the only change was Windows 7. And I know about FSPort, but as strange as it may seem, I would prefer playing the "normal" FS1.
