lol yea it is i stayed up last night and when it popped up {at 6am in the morning} i jumped up and down and sqeeked XD and omg the ship in the first one is huge compared to the one in the second unless im seeing it wrong lol

I believe you are indeed correct, the ship in the first one, the Dreadnought is more classically what one would think of as a corvette-sized to frigate-sized craft which is much bigger than the ship you get at first in the second game, though I believe there are 4 playable ships in the second one (haven't really played it yet myself).

:) I actually never got to play Bridge Commander, which is unfortunate because I hear it was good. I did play Starfleet Academy which was fun, though I hear Bridge Commander better delivered the sense of "scale" for the capital ships. Lawrence Holland (Bridge Commander & X-wing Series) was a great space sim developer, no doubt about it.

it was a great game however the community made it perfection between the modded graphics such as damage appearing in the bridge and just overall prettyness to more simulation functions, all the way to ships cause havving a group of x-wings fight romulan bird of preys was epic XD
