I have seen in older posts where you could start and stop housing upgrades globally by clicking a box in the lower right hand side of the screen. I wanted to do this, however, I do not see that box in ver. 1.1.7. Has it moved somewhere? I have not been able to find it. Please do not tell me that I will need to click on every house individually to stop and start this up. How tedious would that be.

Found it. Now, I need to figure out the difference between housing upgrade and housing density upgrade. I hope that someone can help me.

I would assume housing upgrade is the actual act when they change the house from being able to hold 2 people to 3 or 4 people.

I also would assume housing density upgrade means the citizens now have a new house upgrade available for use.

So as you start the game your residential zones only allow a basic house which holds x people per house. Then when you earn a housing density upgrade, the same zone will allow new house upgrades and each new house that gets upgraded can hold x+1 or x+2 people per house.

I never really paid that close attention to how many people I have in each house.
It's in the upper left. "Village Information" tab.

Thanks, I had figured that out (my second paragraph).

I think that I also figured out my second question. Housing Density Upgrade appears to allow or stop the house upgrading to contain 4 people. House Upgrade is to allow or stop the house from upgrading to Level 2.
