Good morning, y'all.

Just chiming in to inform you that we have gone ahead and uploaded the 1.1 patch for Forgotten Realms: Demon Stone.

Here's a list of changes:

Fixes for Patch 1.1
-------------------------
- Gemspark Mines, the first set of Orcs now completely spawns.

- Chapter 5, the raft no longer sinks to the bottom of the river after traveling some distance. After this point, the user is unable to continue the gameplay after this point.

- Completing the game, starting a New Game, and starts the intro IGC for Battlefield, the audio will now play.

- Install the game, selects Load Game, game saves no longer appear in the five slots in the Load Game screen.

Let us know in case you have any questions, comments, concerns, or technical issues and enjoy your game :D.

Coelocanth: DLed and tried to run it but get a message saying "the patch does not support your version of the game, please download a new" and the rest is cut off.

Win7 64 bit. I've installed the game on a separate drive from the OS, and run the patch installer as admin.
We uploaded an improved patch that will no longer give you anymore trouble. It needed some additional conditioning :D. Sorry for the trouble.

Hey guys,

Sorry about all this hassle but the patch should be good now. Apparently there was some server trouble and there were still older versions being presented to our users. All should be fixed now.

Again we apologize for the inconvenience...

I share the sentiment, but never stopped lurking :D

Am v. pleased to see GOG picked up on this in the end. I didn't pick up Demon Stone from GOG yet, but I'll be sure to do so. Do you think the patch will be worked into the main installer eventually?
Yes, it will eventually get worked into the main installer. When, I can't really say due to the fact that I don't really deal with the technical aspect of our games and, believe me, you would not want me to :D. I can't code my way out of a wet paper bag :D.

Click on "My Account" at the top of the page and then look for your game there :D

also downloaded everything that comes with it I just cant seem to get the game to open up is
re download like a step I should do?
OK just run this file that you have already downloaded:

setup_demon_stone_2.0.0.9.exe

Then run

patch_demon_stone_2.0.1.10.exe

And you should be all set.
