This is great! So many excellent games in these packs but...

Why u no Dragonlance!? Must be an IP/Licensing issue but still, bring on Champions of Krynn baby!

Seems I can reply to this post, but not create a new topic. (Also, subforum title changed; it's now the Forgotten Realms *Collection*, not Archives.)

Edit: Seems I can now create a new topic here.

More than likely they intend to introduce different world settings individually. Ravenloft: Stone Prophet isn't included despite using same engine as Menzoberranzan but Venita's comment seem to indicate it's coming later. If we're lucky, we'll see other SSI games based on the Dragonlance setting (such as Heroes of the Lance (1988), Dragons of Flame (1989), War of the Lance (1989), Dragonstrike (1990) and Shadow Sorcerer (1991)) when Dragonlance Gold box trilogy comes out.

Tracy Hickman claims that Hasbro/WotC owns the IP, so that shouldn't be much of an issue.

Awesome. Was never a big FR guy. This is some of the better gaming news I've seen in awhile. Bring it on!

Were you trying to post a link before? I had an issue where it wouldn't let me post a link and it took me awhile to figure it out, thought I couldn't post at all.

No, I couldn't get that far. The new topic/post links were missing, so I couldn't get to that point in the first place.

This is good news for all Dragonlance fans. Krynn trilogy is probably my favourite Gold Box -series and I have completed it several times. Part of that charm is the fact that the game series features many characters and locations from the books.
