Unbeknownst to me, a party member (PoR) picked up a 'Bag' item. Can this be used to consolidate items and reduce encumbrance? I vaguely remember this being the case, but I may be mixing this up with another RPG (Diablo??). Please advise.

Thanks in advance...

I know in the commodore-64 version of PoR if you split items in your inventory too many times (ie after filling up your inventory spaces) then the top item in your inventory turns into a "Bag" item. This item is actually a glitch, and can have unpredictable effects.

There is an AD&D item called a "Bag of Holding", but I'm not aware of it actually existing in the game. I did find one reference to it here though:

Thanks again, 01skipper. I did notice that the Bag reduces the encumber # of the party member that has it readied.
