I'm trying to play "The Veiled Society," which is a hacked design by the super-prolific Ray Dyer, and unfortunately, one of his hacks was to put purple text on a grey background, and this just isn't going to work out--I can't play a game where I have to spend the entire time squinting at the screen. My hope is that there's a single font file that can be overwritten or something; anyone have any idea?

Delete GAME.FON from the relevant .DSN folder.

I think GAME.FON only changes the look of the font, IIRC the color changes would be stored in ALWAYS.TLB. Try deleting that instead, if the other solution doesn't work.

That worked great, thanks.
