Hi, I have played D&D Crpgs before but none as old as the Eye of the Beholder games, and with this giveaway I thought this would be a nice moment to start playing them.

My questions are: should I play these games in chronological order? Is the first one too outdated? It is a linear story or each game is standalone?

Thanks a lot in advance and also thanks to the GOG team for the giveaway.

Each game has its own story, but you can import your party from EOB1 into EOB2 and into EOB3. Therefore it makes sense to play them in order.

Technically all three games are pretty comparable.
