The Tutorial for ASE says I can make "save game backups" for EotB but it doesn't explain how.

See ASE.txt for more instructions.

For the backup, right click on the map window to open a popup menu, then choose "Backup save game" from there. Or press Ctrl+S when map window is active. Let me know if this helps.
