Once adventuring, I cannot find a menu to add or remove characters from the active party. When I start the game, I get an Add Character option, but this always forms a new party. How can I switch characters in and out of an active party once they have started adventuring?

You do this in the training halls.
The training hall is correct. However I have found my saved characters disappear from the list of removed characters. Very frustrating when I use them to store money, jewels, gems and enhanced weapons.
If you create a new character and then put them in an active game; "a" thru "j" they will not show up if you want to add them to a new game. They need to be in the waiting area in order to call them up.

Don't know the best place to ask this but..............

After playing POR on and off for almost 20 years I got a treasure I had never before gotten after winning against the trolls in the SW corner of the Slums.

Keoghtum's Ointment. Does anyone know how to use it in the game?

Thanks.

Does it sell good? If memory serves, money always tight in PoR at least until you get past the flurry of levelling so many multiclass toons at 1000gp per level.

I found a reference here:

of "Keoghtom's" ointment also neutralizes poison. The Gold Box version
seems to convert poisoned characters to outright dead ones. I don't think
that's the intended meaning of "neutralize".)"

Only kind of dead :p Slow Poison brings them back to life... and oddly enough cures the poison too, rendering Neutralize Poison unnecessary, which is totally fubar... even by the spell description.

I still have it. I think it sells for 8,000 gold.

Many thanks. Best hint I've seen yet.

Could someone post a detailed description of how you Add a character to the party in the training hall? I can see how to REMOVE a member, but not how to add a new one. Do you REMOVE everyone from the party and then create a new party with the characters you want to add?
You need to create a character in the training hall first and save him. Then he will be available to add in the training hall if you have less than a full party.
