Hello sunsa,

We reached out for the Linux and Mac builds of the game and are currently waiting for developer response. Sorry for the late reply!

Thanks for looking into this. Is there any estimate as to if/when Linux/Mac builds will be available here?
I'm waiting for linux version too (if the Iron Oak devs are checking this thread, you can count me as sale opportunity).

From a quick look on steam forums it looks they are still ironing out some bugs from the current version and fighting with dependencies, so let's hope they are just waiting with GOG release to make it more polished and figuring out how to make it work out of box?
From the "Known Issues and Solutions" document handled by the devs, there's under the problem "Lore is Not Saving" this notice:

For GOG: Until later fixed: the game must be run through the Galaxy client. A later patch will update this to support non-galaxy client versions.

So it looks they are working on non-galaxy patch of the game, and obviously current version has no chance of linux port, as it requires galaxy. Maybe after this patch there will be better chance of linux version too.
Count me in for a purchase if the Linux build comes to GOG.

After last update, Lore Store is no more Galaxy-dependant, so now there is no excuse to have this game Windows-only.
Let's see if devs care about their GOG linux public...
Linux version isn't possible because the game uses Galaxy (Internet).

From the changelog: Lore unlocks and purchases are stored outside of Steam/GOG. This is good for GOG users who don’t want to use Galaxy

MacOS version is also available now, so I would assume Linux is very well possible and hopefully not too far away.

MacOS version without Galaxy?

The download page looks like this

I was under the assumption that "Download offline [...] installers" would provide the version without Galaxy.
Yeah, I hope the Linux-version will land here on GOG soon as well.
Well, from the information currently available I am optimistic that a linux-native version is on the way to GoG at some point.

But for now, since it is not available yet, does anyone have the Windows version running under wine or something? Anything special required to get it running?

Hello GOG!

I see the mac version made its way to the store. Does that mean the linux version is on the way too?

Decent forum necromancy job. :)

(I'm pretty sure this case is long time closed, the post you quote was done by person who doesn't even work for GOG any more, etc...)

And no, I didn't buy the game, because of the missing linux version. Seems like nice game, but I'm not a nice guy. :D
