Hello there!
On my Ubuntu 14.04 i had horrible sound with Flatout. The sound is played to fast and stutters. But i was able to apply a simple fix i wanted to share here for others and possibly for GOG to consider to include the fix.
I simply had to export the enviroment variable PULSE_LATENCY_MSEC=60 with this line:
export PULSE_LATENCY_MSEC=60
I included that in the start.sh from the GOG package and yeah: Now more buffer underun and a perfect gaming experience!
