As far as i observed it..expansion doens't give a buildingslot like described but instead give a POP.
Is this a bug or is it intended...only getting a POP would change it from perfect choice to sometimes usefull.

II.Targets
is there any other way to influence wich targests are chosen instead of declaring war to a neighbour?
Playing as Dacia i got usefull targets for the first 50 turn after that...mostly 100% useless. For example...
as Rome declared War against me the first time their empire inclued italy, north africa, southern france and parts of germany and they had 2 gallic tribes as clients...i got Rome, Kathargo, one region in southern france and the capitals of the tribes as targets...100% pointless. With the new patch i can sometimes give up targets if i either are losing a war or if have a good standing 50+ and the factions is still independent. I can't even give up targets that i my own client-tribes hold.

III. Freeing slaves
I am playing without slavemarket and free salves as often as possible but i noticed that most the time the POP just disappear instead of being transformed.Bug, intended random chance?

IV.Trade primary and secondary needs
Quite often the secondry needs are fullfiled because the tradegood is in a neighouring region but if the same good is needed as primaey good it says need import- Why? The manual stated that a the region with the tradegood+neighbours can use the good for free.

V.Unitdescription in diplomacy
With the latest patch one can ask/be asked for provincal units via diplomacy. The KI seems to know exactly wich Units are good :) but i have no idead about the stats of most special units. I can switch to the faction and take a look but... is there any way to see the states of provincal Units? (Aside from swtiching Faction or being allied and take a look)

VI.Provincal units used wrong
Many Provincal units are special in the way that they have rules hat are differen from their Unitstype. Like Heavy Dacian Infantry having a bonus for Hills/Mountains instead of a debuff. But combatsystem always ignore this special rules, Dacian Inf. is never placed into the frontrank if you have other healthy Inf within the army, same with several special german Inf. Units,...
Is there any way to influence the combatsetup(Aside from parting the army in a field&a siege army or exporting the battle)

I haven't noticed this (although I didn't specifically check), so I think it still gives one more building slot as it should. Are you sure your pop in the region hasn't changed meanwhile? Because land expansion takes a lot of time to build, so pop change can happen meanwhile.

DF1871: II.Targets
The targets are automatically reshuffled after a certain number of turns unless you share a common border with a country which has one of your targets. You can also give up targets in normal negotiations (although I haven't checked whether you get a new target soon after that). If your client state has your targets, they will always stay. Your options are getting the province via negotiations or declaring a war on your client state.

I think the slaves simply go away somewhere (disappear).

Because all required primary goods need to be imported directly into the region. You only benefit from neighboring supply when it comes to collecting bonuses. That makes sense if you think about it, as otherwise one could make massive savings by importing the primary good only once. This would change the whole building and trading systems.

Works for me after one of the later patches.
