I have Creative soundcard Titanium X-FI Champion Series and i installed Alchemy but i cant enable EAX and hardware sound in F.E.A.R. Alchemy dont show the game in games list, i added it manually but i cant enable EAX. What me to do?

Windows 7 x64

P.S. sorry for bad english im russian =)

For russian users.

it´s been a long time since you posted this question, hopefully this might help.

This worked for me, I´m currently running windows 10 64 bit, my sound card is a sb1090 xfi, I´m using the latest driver from around 2015.

1st. Select the directory of your install or game path (C:\Program Files (x86)\GOG Galaxy\Games\F.E.A.R. Platinum Collection) this is just an example...

2nd. Check "install into Sub Folder" the subfolder it should be "FEARXP".

3rd. Check "Install into Root and Sub Folders".

4th. Don´t forget to fill the game title, just name it "FEAR"

5th. Go to the icon of your FEAR game and right click on it and select Properties, then compability options and in compability mode check "Execute in windows XP service pack 2 mode".

Hopefully this works for you too, excuse me for my poor english.

Greetings from Mexico.
