The original FarCry from GOG wont start on W11, installed it and started it up went trough the graphics settings auto detect. Tried to run the game, all I see is the splash-screen and that's it, I can't alt-tab out of the splash-screen...
Have to restart the computer. Any help would be appreciated, thanks !

Hi, I'm not sure it will fix your issue but for me I had to select high preset, not the highest. I hope that works for you too. You're not missing much though, the game is terrible.

What worked for me (from PCGamingWiki)
1. Open <path-to-game>\system.cfg with a text editor.
2. Modify the parameter r_ShadersPrecache to 0.
3. Launch the game and set the Lighting Quality option to Very High.

Also using dgVoodoo wrapper, but don't think it's required to launch.
