Hey, me again. :)

So, as I understand it, Smitty in Adytum can upgrade my plasma rifle into a turbo plasma rifle. I've completed the "fix the farm" quest, and he has already upgraded my power armor, but whenever I talk to him now, all he says is "Nice to see you, but I'm right in the middle of some research." I've tried waiting for days, traveling to a different area and back, and reloading the game, but that's all I get.

Did I miss the opportunity?

Are you sure you're talking to the right guy? The fellow who upgrades your power armor is usually the scientist in the smock, right? 'Cause the guy who upgrades the plasma rifle is somebody else.

Well, don't I feel dumb now. :P The source I was using for tips was wrong!

These things do happen. Besides, you got your rifle, right? :)

Oh yes, and it's awesome. It'd be even more awesome if I could get through the Regulators battle without accidentally shooting one of my Blades "allies." lol
