I noticed at around the time of the big Interplay sale, the Fallout 1/2/Tactics install packages got updated, anyway reinstalling Fallout 1 I discovered that installing the unofficial TeamX patch v.1.3.5, that the game still lists the official version of the game as 1.2
(in the bottom corner of the main menu).

I never had this problem with the old Fallout GOG install so I'm wondering if GOG can clarify what exactly got changed in the new package.

GOG should know about the issue. Constant updating by different people can lead to unforeseen issues.

The TeamX versions 1.3.x never changed the version number on screen. Modding should still be working just fine.
