I only use Galaxy's client to download updates I do not always want to play this game with the overlay. how do you stop it without removing Galaxy. I often times play offline, this is a single player game after all.
I did try unchecking the "overlay" option in "features setting it still pops up, refreshes all my games and lags horribly. I wish it would just butt out.

I didn't get F3 from GOG, but if it's like other games there should be per-game settings in addition to the global "features" setting you found. It wouldn't surprise me if F3 (like most GOG games) have this setting on by default, which I think may override the global setting.

So hopefully you can tell F3 not to launch Galaxy from its game panel (in Galaxy). If it still happens I'd hassle GOG about it, because there's no reason to be forced to use Galaxy.

Yes! You are absolutly right! There is some odd override feature in additoin to global settings. I don't know why gobal can't be set to default everything else instead. sort of reversed logic. Tthis is only true of some games, "big ticket items" like Bethesda titles, and "Witcher 3"

Yeah I was just about to say it's only for some games - generally newer games and/or added recently.

It kind of makes sense the way it is - EXCEPT the setting for all games (when you first install them) should default to whatever the globals are, and not default to all on. That's kind of annoying.
