Yes the GOG version of Fallout 1 is the censored UK version with the children taken out.

If you look at the Fallout 1 mods sticky page you can get mods that put the kids, extra violence etc back in.

It seems that the Fallout Children Patch has been removed from NMA.

The link in the mod sticky is outdated.

That says it's for the DOS version of the game.

It says that it *adds* support for the DOS version. I took it to mean that it still is the Windows version but you could use it also with the DOS version.
I just downloaded it and it includes a new exe for DOS and Windows. Here's the readme:


Fallout 1 Children Patch By Skynet.

Description:

This handy little patch brings children's back to the Fallout 1.2 UK version.

Installation:

Just unzip the F1ChildPatch.zip into your Fallout folder (example C:\InterPlay\Fallout\) and let it overwrite some files.

If you are using Windows version, launch the Falloutw.exe.
If you are using DOS version, launch the FALLOUT.exe.
