[FIXED]

Hey guys,

so, i have some mods installed and wanted to play the game. Unfortunately it seems that the Main menu has a problem with displaying the Menu-Buttons. When I hover over it with my mouse, I can see the green borders around it. So the buttons seem to exist but the font is invisible. Would apreciate help if anybody knows this bug or knwos how to solve the problem.

I'm not a modding expert, especially for Fallout 3, however I suggest you to use LOOT (Load Order Optimisation Tool) to correct the mods' load order and check for incompatibilities.

Thanks for the reply. I already did that. I even tried to sort that manually. I used a mod list. It got many endorsements on Nexus, so i thought it would be good. Seems like I was wrong.

If the game runs fine without any mods, then there should be an incompatibility between two or more mods, or maybe a mod that doesn't work correctly: even the load order could cause issues.
It's hard to tell where the problem is, because you are using a lot of mods, and even a suggested mod list could not be 100% correct and devoid of any issue.
As a rule of thumb, you should try disabling all of them, and then reactivate them one by one, until everything works fine.
I can't help you any further than that, sorry.

So I reinstalled Fallout 3 now. I had to start with New Vegas Anti Crash because it would crash on startup otherwise. But there are no other mods installed anymore. But I have the same problem. So I assume that there is nothing wrong with the mods. I dont know, what that is. I googled and googled but didnt found anything that is identical to my problem. I appreciate your help btw. Glad that there are people, that are helping just because there kind.

I would advise against using any mods, and try to make the game work unmodded.
Provide more information about your system (hardware, OS, etc.). For instance some users reported similar problems on a multi-monitor setup.

I fixed it! It seems that my old saves from the Steam-Version made all texts invisible. I dont know why but after deleting them everything was fine. Thank you for your help dude! Have a wonderfull day!
