Hey guys, can anyone guide me as to in what order should I follow installing these modes if there is any order?

Also should I only pick the mods from the latest list or the old list as well.

Thanks.
Could someone please mirror these? For some reason the counter to download on NMA never ends, it always says "please wait x seconds to download".

Edit

Eventually got them. Here's a mirror for them all.

Thanks for the mirror! That download method is way too slow for just downloading a few files
I like to add what I think is the teamx home page here: http://www.teamx.ru/site_arc/patches/index.html
Here its posible to download the latest version of 1.2 and 1.35 eng patches, or at least the txt info is more recently changed that the ones in this post, I don't know if there are any significant changes other than that tough
Okay, I've reploaded them with the newer versions too and organised it better.

One thing I'm not sure about is that there seem to be two restoration patches, both linked to TeamX. Can anyone give me more information on this? Are they different stages of the same thing, two parallel projects with the same goal or what?

There's also the mega-patch/mod called Fallout Fixt. Only just heard about it myself but it's been around for a while now.

Thank you for sharing! Thais mod is the best way to install most of the more popular ones. It's also very clear and if you go into their website and download the custome version you can hand-pick which changes apply to the game and which not from a really long list.

Fixt is very good. I am playing the first game right now with it installed. It's kind of like RP for FO2. I went with half-purist option, which is basically just fixing existing bugs and adding cut content.

So is Fixt the best option right now for Fallout 1 if you want the best experience?

AFAIK yes. If you wish vanilla experience go with bug-fix only option. That way you'll see the game as developers intended it minus all the bugs. Don't worry, giant ants and radscorpions are still in there. :)

Windshadow: How are these used with the free osX Macintosh version I installed today? Won't they need some sort of wine encapsulation to work or be installed?

Cheers

I'd like to know the same thing. I can do it with CrossOver but can't figure out how to do it with the WINE version GOG uses.

Thanks.
Any one else having GOG Galaxy issues with launching a game after it has been modded?

A couple of my games no longer launch through Galaxy, Fallout included. The exe is still falloutw.exe, but nada.

I modded my Gog Galaxy install of Fallout 1 with Fallout Fixt and it still launches no problems.

Is your Gog Galaxy library installed under C:\Program Files? You could be running into a problem with user account control (UAC); I hear it doesn't like it when installed games get modded, but it only pays attention to certain directories. My library is on another disk and folder entirely so that may be why mine works and yours doesn't.

How did you get galaxy to run fixt?
When I install fixt, it creates a new folder in the fallout directory, with its own exe.

So given that Bethesda has re-released fallout 1 what mods are needed/still compatible with the new version?
