There are huge assets for these games over at no mutants allowed but I do not see ho I can use them or even the save game editors order OSX. has anyone done the encapsulated wine trick with these tools and mods

Or perhaps post step by step instructions on how to use them work around the problem of using mods and editors without dropping into bootcamp if I wanted to run windows I would have gotten the windows versions

Thanks

I haven't gotten around to downloading them yet, but I'm under the impression that the mac versions of FO1 and 2 on GOG are simply wineskins. If that is the case, should simply be able to right-click the game application, click "Show Package Contents" and find a folder called "drive_c". Within this folder you should find all the same game files as the Windows version, even following the same directory layout. Installing a mod should by as easy as following the Windows instructions. If the mod has an .exe or any other executable file you need to run for an automatic install, you can simply drag the executable file onto either your game application, or the "Wineskin" application within it. That should run the installer like you were in a Windows interface.
Like I said, I'm not sure if that's how the games have been ported, but I hope this helps. There may be tutorials online that can explain the process inf more detail.
Thanks I tried to run FALCHE this way and it seemed to corrupt the files it was working on I guess I best wait for someone who does a lot of this cross platform stuff to do a step by step guide for idiots like me... Time to reinstall and start over cheers
