I've played Fallout 2 before without any problems, yet when I started it up tonight there was no sound whatsoever. I've looked around and didn't see other posts with this specific problem, so I figure I should try hear. Anyone else have this issue?
Also, I have installed the Restoration mod on the game, but that was awhile ago when I started up a new character. I have not tampered with any settings since then.

EDIT: Figured it out, would delete post but not sure how.

What did you do? I have the same problem for the first game.

What did you do? Having the same troubles as you. I started it up for the first time and there was no sound at all
Everytime I start the game up now, my volume doesn't work at all for my pc, whether it be for videos or other games. I simply unplugged and plugged back in my speakers and everything worked out fine.

If it was just music I'd tell you to copy the files into the right folder, you might want to check what folders they are installed in anyway. Sorry I haven't heard of the NO sound issue, only the no music issue.

I assume other sound is working fine? (Music, videos etc)

No, it was ALL sound. For some reason, it has to do with my speakers moreso than the game
