So im really excited, I haven't played Fallout 1 in years and I finally figured out how too. It runs flawlessly on Wineskin and I just killed Gizmo. Im back in the saddle.

But im trying to get Fixit installed into the game files but i'm having problems. Its super slow and laggy and does not function as well as the original GOG copy. I believe GOG already has the Hi Res patch installed so when I try and mod fixit into the game it messes it up. Installation was easy but Im running out of ideas what it could be.

Also, once I download the Fixit mod, it creates a new folder inside my Fallout folder, and I can still run the GOG release fine but once I run the Fallout with Fixit, it does not work. Any help would be appreciated! I'm super excited to play this game again.

Thanks
exactly what's the problem with running it? Fixt is running fine for me on mac (pure wine, not wineskin)

When I try to run it, it is really slow and laggy and the game will not run smooth at all. The installation went without a hitch but its just not running good at all.
try to play with HRP settings (ddraw/directx, etc). Also disable cpu usage fix in both f1_res.ini and ddraw.ini.
