Fallout 1 was free at one point, 2 and Tactics have been on sale at least twice in the last year (50% off iirc). Unfortunately you missed the boat on those. If you prefer Steam then you may as well leave it at that and not buy them again here.

Worth how? You have them already and like steam.
Gog versions have pretty good extras, fallout bible, soundtracks, wallpapers, avatars, stuff.
But it's hard to quantify what's that worth to you.

I had 1 and 2 already as boxed, but got them anyway when they were on a sale here.

What happened Fallout 1,2 and 3 pricing? They used to be 5.99$ each and now they are 9.99$

Same as on steam, but that doesn't mean that it isn't still a bargain. 2 is the best rpg I have ever played.

yeah i noted that when i wanted to buy those games.... pretty greedy. doesnt matter if those are great games.

Hate to necro, but considering I stumbled on this post on the board's front page while looking at this collection and all, its not so strange an idea that others might as well. Plus its important information to consider, if like the OP you're considering a purchase of these three Fallouts.

Due to the lawsuit war between Bethesda and Interplay, interplay is loosing the rights to sell these three Fallout titles come December 30th of this year (2013). Its not inconceivable that Fallout 1, 2 and tactics will then become unavailable for purchase for quite a while until Bethesda does something with them, should they choose to.

Personally I'd pick up all three here and on steam, and even hunt out some physical copies before that date, as I'm sure their price on ebay will skyrocket until, as I said, Bethesda does something. Something to consider, if you're on the fence on which might be more worth your time. Quick answer, they all are.

Key word here is "PURCHASE". GOG actually sells games while Steam just RENTS ONLY - if in some point you didn't agree with their "subscriber agreement" then you will loose ALL games you paid for, even BOX versions which you can't activate without Steam... :-/

I have two gifted games ("Fallout: New Vegas" and "DeusEx: Human Revolution"; both with all DLCs), BOX versions bought at retailer, and I can't run them without Steam (legally). I hope some day such games will be available on GOG because of DRM FREE policy...

While I already have all of the mentioned games on Steam, I also have FO1 here, and I'm planning to buy FO2 and FOT also. My reasons are simple:
1. I'd like to have a backup copy of my most valuable games (and Fallout series is one of my most favorite onces).
2. While you can easily find Fallout Bible elsewhere, some of GOG's extras are really hard to find or even unique. Believe me, I've done a LOT of searching. :)
3. GOG really cares about compatibility. AFAIK, only here you can buy a Mac copy of FO1 and FO2. And once the new OS comes out, I bet GOG will make sure all the games are compatible with it.
