It seems that you're using an outdated browser. Some things may not work as they should (or don't work at all).

Just tried and FO1 works on my mac without any patches or changing any settings.
Might be a system version thing or something, 10.7.5. here, 1680x1050 screen (fallout is 640x480 or whatever the default res is).
Hi there,

I'm experiencing the same problem as Vadaal.
I unzipped the patch, got into the Fallout App (with "show package content option") and put everything into the "drive_c/GOG Games/Fallout/" folder.
Then I got the msvcp60.dll file and put it in "drive_c/windows/system" folder of the fallout package.

I also installed xquartz, just to make shure. ;-)

No matter what options I enter into the f1_res.ini, it doesn't change anything. The game still starts as usual in the original resolution.

Any other suggestions?
It seems to me, that the patch does not work / is not recognized at all, because it just doesn't change anything. But I did everything as stated above. At least I think I did ;-)

My system is a early 2011 13" Macbook Pro running OSX Yosemite Version 10.10.1

Thank you guys!

Looks good, but don't forget to run f1_res_Config.exe within the wrapper to patch the game's executable. Otherwise f1_res.dll won't be loaded on start and the game runs unpatched.
Okay,

as all these folders and files are located within the Fallout Application Package, it's not possible (or at least I don't know how) to run the f1_res_Config.exe with Wineskin, because in the dialog within Wineskin, where you are prompted to choose the executable you are not able to show the package content of the Fallout App and therefore cannot choose the exe. Ha! Found a way!

I created an alias of the drive_c folder within the Fallout Package to my desktop and therefore was able to choose the exe. within Wineskin.
The Patch is activated now.
Still having some major color bugs atm, but I'll go through all the already mentioned threads on here and will probably figure it out.

Thanks anyways! :-)
