Hi everyone,
I’m experiencing a specific and frustrating issue with Fallout: London. The game runs fine during a new game session, but I cannot load any manual saves. Auto-saves work occasionally, but manual saves result in an immediate crash to desktop during the loading screen.
My Specs:
CPU: Intel Core i5-14600K
GPU: NVIDIA RTX 2070 Super
RAM: 32GB DDR5
Monitor: Acer X34 UltraWide (3440x1440p)
OS: Windows 11
These are the changes I made that seem to have no revelance:
Resolution: Set to 3440x1440p via .ini files (bBorderless=1, bFull Screen=0).
Special K: Using frame limiter and HDR
CPU Affinity: Tried restricting the game to P-Cores only via Process Lasso
I have already tried a completely clean reinstallation of both Fallout 4 and Fallout: London. I proceeded by adding my tweaks and tools one step at a time (Resolution first, then Special K, then CPU affinity) to monitor stability.
Initially, everything seemed to work perfectly. I was able to play, save, and reload without issues. However, after some time, the problem suddenly returned: now, a new game starts and plays perfectly, and I can save manually without errors, but if I exit the game and try to load that exact manual save, it crashes 100% of the time during the loading screen.
