I like the changes to the Legendary Heroes interface and would prefer to play it, but I hate the maps. There are few decent settlement locations, there usually seems to be some especially nasty monster nearby when I find one, and even the random monsters are kicking my butt. Am I doing something wrong? Was there a big change in difficulty between the versions? Are there settings I can adjust to make this less sucky?
