What about GOG?
I guess devs or GOG are waiting for a less beta release, waiting for a patched release, 2.6 ...

I just got the answer from FELH devs via Steam forums that update 2.5 is already on GOG for a long time but only for Galaxy users...

I was forced to have bothered the support department. Waiting for the answer.
Thanks for the information about version 2.5!

I am really starting to hate the obvious fact that galaxy users are now being preferred customers and get patches earlier than those customers who do not want to use galaxy! The same is currently happening with "Thea 2" and probably a lot of other titles where I have not yet heard about new patches being published on galaxy but not as offline installers!

I am so fed up about this that I have created this feature request:

In couple of days I got the answer that some 'production department' or something like that is now aware of this problem.
It's very soothing really, to know that some department now can't sleep from trying to solve such a grand issue...

Is this a 'production department' of GOG or a 'production department' of Stardock?

That of GOG, of course. Stardock guys said they've done their part of work having provided GOG guys with the update.

Galaxy is the plague that poisons GOG. Among some other plagues, for sure.

Thanks for the answer. Just tried to make support request and got harassed with captcha *****. I am logged in as a customer. There is no sane reason I can see why I should have to deal with this captcha crap.

Edit: I wasnt logged in because somehow clicking on 'Support' put me onto a different web page where I was not logged in? Clicking on 'Sign in' then logged me in without me actually entering anything. So a technical screwup somewhere.

Edit 2: I made a support ticket for making 2.5 downloadable.

GOG waited because 2.5 is bad. Stardock made Hotpatch, then just started at last a 2.51 patch. Rather blame Stardock.

2.5 (it says 2.50.6) is available per offline installer now.

Thanks for the info - downloading now.

It is sad how much gog's customer support and care for their (offline installer) customers has decreased when they cannot even be bothered to update the changelog within almost a month after publishing a new version... the changelog is still for 2.4 and dated October, 17th, 2018...

And that last entry in the changelog is probably for the wrong game too - see https://www.gog.com/forum/fallen_enchantress/changelog/post4
