I bought the game, and because the Mac specific version does not work on 10.14 because of some issue with Wineskin, I decided to download the windows version and use porting kit. The game runs well, except it doesnt allow me to put the game into my native resolution (1366x768). I tried using the resolution fix that you can download, but it made no change.

Okay, couple of basic questions to help you troubleshoot:

(1) When you say "using the resolution fix" do you mean the Universal Resolution Changer or a different fix?

(2) If you're using the Universal Resolution Changer, did you put the .dll and the resolution.ini files in the Evil Genius\ReleaseExe folder?

(3) If you answered yes to both of the above questions, did you edit resolution.ini to the resolution you want?

Try this program: https://westechsolutions.net/sites/WindowedBorderlessGaming/manual

I'm using it to run the game borderless and it works great. Took a little fidgeting to get it working but now it's amazing.
