Is there a way to tell from the island view whether there's an Agent of Justice looking for my minions on the World Domination map? Because frequently, when I check on my money-siphoning minions I'm greeted with a replay of a bunch of them falling over dead. I've just been checking the map more often so I get a chance to hide them if I see an Agent in my region, but it'd be nice if I could have some notification while in island view.

I know that valets can reduce heat in the region (less chance of an Agent appearing?) and guards can fight back (reduces losses?), and they help, but still, sometimes I lose a bunch and then it's annoying to regenerate minions and retrain and redeploy them back. I'm still quite early in the game (first tier minions), so maybe the later minions help with that or maybe there's a room or room object that does that? (If there is, don't tell me as I'd like to discover that for myself :p)

Just wondering from a UI point-of-view whether there's something that lets me know what's happening on the map view.
Iirc the closest you get is a flash on the World Domination Map button whenever something (ie. dying) happens to your minions while they're away. You don't get any kind of alert when an Agent or Super Agent shows up to harass your minions on the WDM.
Oh, well, that's a shame. I guess I'll just be more vigilant checking the map, or not worry about them too much. After all, they're just puny expendable minions. :D

Thanks.
Periodic checking of the map is the only reliable option. I think it operates in 1 minute (maybe 30 second) turns. So every 30 seconds or so, quickly put on the map, if there are any enemy units in the area you're stealing from, then quickly set that area to hiding, and then get back to your main view.

Hopefully you've realised to only piss off one group at a time, so are stealing from just one of the main 9 point areas (I tended to keep Sabre on permanent full pissed offness).

^This. You can make things a tad easier on yourself if you abuse the ability to pause the game while giving orders, so you can check the map and leisurely hide minions (or remove minions, or add more minions).

Also note that on the Normal difficulty, the hide time for minions should be around 2 minutes I think - which should be longer than the amount of time agents hang around for on the world map (including most, if not all, super agents). So if you hide just after first spotting an agent they should be fine for a while when they come out of hiding, at least until the next agent appears.

But yeah, they're just minions, so I wouldn't bother too much about it unless it's a mission - but you're probably watching those more carefully anyway...
