It would be good if we could set a rarity and have it automatically break down components we don't need. Having to do it every time I pick something up gets tedious as I have to stop gameplay to open the inventory every time.
Edit: What about an advanced cargo unit with that ability?

This is an issue we have on our radar. As of now we think the amount of items that are 'useless' to the player is reasonable...or in other words... there is just enough scrap, so you can advance your crafting skills slowly but steady.

But I'll admit: Once you hit the level 14 Levelcap, things start to change and you'll see a lot of Items you want to dismantle.
This is an temporary / artifical limit though.

Our ultimate goal would be to introduce new item types, with higher levels and balance drop chances in a way that you never end up with too many garbage items. Maybe we will need some auto disassembling mechanic for the late game.
And binding this to the cargo unit could be an option. We will this in mind.

Just wanted to let you know that such a feature will arrive rather later than earlier.
