hollunder: Any update?
Can someone confirm that it will be available?
What are you referring to? Everspace is available for purchase since May.

We only have an "inofficial" version on Steam so far that can be played from a Beta channel. Since we can't do this on GoG, we can only release it here once we have a stable version, which will probably be the case soon - can't give an ETA yet but we're on it :)

Hello, the next update will take a bit more time because we're upgrading to a newer engine version. We will have a bunch of HOTAS/VR fixes and hopefully also have that issue fixed.

The deluxe edition upgrade contains the Soundtrack and Artbook as zip files, so yes, you'll need to unzip that. The main game should just be installed to your GOG installation folder.
Upcoming Patch 1.2.3
You can look forward to an upcoming patch featuring several tweaks and bugfixes as well as improved joystick support. We’re still not quite there, yet, as we had to migrate to Unreal Engine 4.18 in order to fix several VR related issues, but we’re approaching the finish line and should be ready to release in about two to four weeks. We also hope to announce the official Linux release, then!
Stay tuned! Cheers, Michael
So, maybe end of May at GOG'?
Glad you managed to migrate to the new Unreal Engine version. So it finally looks good for the Linux version coming to GOG?
