Now that Europa Universalis III is available on GoG, I am wondering if the Europa Universalis III Chronicles will likely come to GoG some day. I know that this is asking for complete speculation, but I would like to know what you think.

Also, does Europa Universalis III Complete and EUROPA UNIVERSALIS III COLLECTION UPGRADE combined include all that the Chronicles version offers.
Europa Universalis III Chronicles is exactly what GOG offers if you buy both the Complete package and the upgrade.

On top of that the unit sprites dlc`s is included in the upgrade but they were not included in the original Chronicles
when it was released by the developers. I bought the disk version of Chronicles a long time ago. It included the base game and all expansions. The sprites I bought seperately.

So my guess would be that GOG will not make the Chronicles available since everything is already available.

The only bad thing with the deal here on GOG is that you can`t play the Heir to the Throne expansion seperately since the game is updated to Divine Wind (the last expansion) when installing the upgrade. It would be more convenient if GOG had separate installers for the base game and the expansions.

I already have the Complete version an Chronicles on disks and the Heir to the Throne expansion separately. A nice thing to have since I have several mods that needs a specific expansion to play.
You know I thought that hhhhhhhhhhhooooooooooorrrrrrrrrrrrrsssssssssssseeeeeeeeeeeeeee aaaaahhhhhhhhhhhmmmmmmmmuuuuuuuuuuuuuuhhhhhhhhhh (oblivious) was the moneygrab until I logged into steam one day only to see a fuckton of spritepacks for paradox games.

Fortunately for paradox they seem to have backed off that bullshit and are now only behind train simulator bullshit expansions (oh look shiny grass, oh look wavey grass, etc.)...

[EDIT]
That said I already own the important bits(minus the bullshit spritepacks) on steam. The games aren't bad, but TBH they're not AAA quality games in any way shape or form. Fairly priced they'd be $30 new with ALL of the BS expansions, and a couple of bucks today, but as I say that's my feeling and experience as they could be worse like slitherine and matrix...

I might find it interesting to play the Heir to the Throne expansion separately, but I am happy to see it offered as a full package (even if it is in two purchases). I will keep what you said in mind regarding mods, in case I want to add any. Thank you again.

Considering the repay value, I am not surprised by the base price GoG is asking for the "Complete" and "Upgrade" versions. However, I am surprised that they are being offered for 75% off the base prices at the initial release. This could be a sign that GoG will reduce the base prices after several months have passed. This has me wondering whether I should buy both now for $75% off ($10.08) or wait until the price drops. I do not mind waiting a year or more, since I have a large backlog of games to play.
You could buy the Complete version and just wait for the upgrade until a sale later on.

The EU3 Complete is perfectly playable and Divine Wind (the upgrade) is somewhat overrated anyway.
When playing with just Complete you are playing basically EU3 In Nomine and I have a link to a very good mod for that particular expansion:

The mod: http://mare.sourceforge.net/

Mod manual: http://sourceforge.net/projects/mare/files/archive/mmp2-manual.rar/download

Some good info on Europa Universalis 3 here:

Based on my large game back log, I decided to put both on my wish list, play my other games, and see if the price drops by the time I am ready to buy/play the EU3 games.

Thank you for the mod links.
