I really dig the single player of this game, but whenever I go into Arena, the box is blank. I'm assuming that's where you can find people to connect with? Is this blank because it's tied to Steam and I bought the game on gog? Is there any way to fix this? Thanks!

What do you mean by "the box is blank"? Could you post a screenshot?
The arena is single player only. It's a leaderboard based competition.

Sure, I've attached what I see. I'm assuming the large box in the middle is supposed to show scores, but it never fills with anything, even if I click the "World," "Me," or "Friends" tabs. I've tried clicking Refresh as well and I still get nothing. Is that what's supposed to happen?

Edit: I'm on Windows 10.

I got the same issue. I don't see other people's results and after I complete an arena session it doesn't save my result.

Is the leaderboard feature steam only?

Also the workshop area is not working either. I assume that either still not developed or steam only.

The leaderboards should be working. Though the scores are not shared between Steam and GOG you should still see the scores from the GOG version. We'll investigate.

The mods are working though you you have to manually install them.

Good to know.
Would be nice to extend the life of the game with Arena and Mods.

Otherwise you guys will just have to speed up the plans for Epistory 2 ;)
