dkornfilt: I found an interesting bug during quest It's Hammer Time (lv. 8). I'm playing on a somewhat older machine and I've noticed certain things can sometimes happen out of order. Usually crash/reboot solves the problem but in this case, my heroes keep reliving the last encounter before they camped and then camping again in an endless loop, never making it back to the tavern. Output log is attached for your convenience. Really enjoy the game, look forward to all the improvements. Thanks!

Note: I couldn't upload the zipped version so I just uploaded the .txt file.

edit: upon reading up this appears to be the same bug user jetemple25 experienced. same quest chain.
Hey there @dkornfilt, thanks for taking the time to let us know about this!

From what you describe, and from the looks of your output log, this is the same problem as @jetemple25. Our engineers are currently taking a look at this bug and we have it in our database as ET-1448! We'll let you know when we know more about it or get a patch fix in.

jetemple25: EA Build 976. I have started a new game, although keeping the old one, and will let you know if I hit this issue again. I will try periodic backup zips as you suggested.
Thank you, @jetemple25, have fun!

If either of you have any gameplay suggestions, we'd be happy to have you join us on our discord over at http://discord.gg/epictavern! We hold regular dev chats with our community and designers, and love getting feedback there.

Thanks again and take care!

jetemple25: I purchased this game a few days ago and really have been enjoying it. I have about 15 hours logged and have ran across a few bugs, but nothing that really bothered me until now.

One interesting one had it where two characters leveled up and could level up infinitely. One was level 1 and the other was level 7. It kept allowing me in the tavern to level one, then the other, and repeat. I stopped at level 21 and 15. The level 21 did not take, but the level 15 kind of did. It had all of the stats and said at the top of his portrait that he was level 15, but the description of his character class still showed it at level 1. Interestingly enough the game killed him off in a random accident about three quests later.

Now I have a real issue where the game is permanently stuck on a quest. Level 8 The Tinker's Be Damned. This is the Social Quest "Now You're Talking". I have successfully completed the 7 quest prior and chose to save and re-home the hammer. I was offered gear from the Winterflame Workshop and chose the social gear option. Assembling my party I set out and they ended the day just north of Orthisalis. The next day, they began moved forward one step only and ended the day again. They began the next day back where they started the previous day, and again moved forward one step and again rested for the day again. This has repeated about a half dozen times with no change. I have ran other quests at the same time with other adventurers, and have tried running no other quests. It seems my four best adventurers are stuck in an infinite loop. Please help.
Hey, @jetemple25! Are you still experiencing this bug?
I'm not putting Scorpion Shots on my menu, but my customers keep ordering them. I've attached the output log to this post. I hope that helps.

Except that attachment is only for images. My output log seems to be hundreds of pages long, so I don't copying and pasting it is an option. But here's a sample:

Hey, @blainedeyoung! That's a very odd bug indeed. Would you be able to upload that log to our Google Drive so I can take a closer look at the entire log? https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/0B2sp21A-7EYBMU1FbkhnMzN2aG8. When doing so, please use this naming convention: [Your Steam Forum Name]_[file type]. Example: rawglambition_outputlog.txt.

If you have any screen shots, that would also help me out to show the engineers as well. Thanks a bunch!
Sure, rawglambition, I uploaded my log to your drive named as you requested. Sadly, I didn't take a screenshot, but there was nothing unusual about the way it looked.

No worries! We'll take a look and see if there's something strange in the logs. I'll keep you posted!

When they would request the item, and it not being on the menu, what options are available to you? To serve still, or something else?

Well, I took them off the menu because I only had one left. So one customer asked for it and I served it. Then another asked and it informed me that I was out.

Interesting. Did you take it off the menu on the start of the turn, or down on the bottom tabs during the turn?

Stuck in endless quest loops, missing heroes

Hey, I got another bug for you:

Right after loading the saved game, with two quests underway, these two quests don't show any hero icons anymore.
One is finished, they should be on their way back, the other is still in the "forward" phase.

I can start new quests here and go though them; but when it comes to the quests-underway phase, the small walking party-helmet keeps running in place forever, and the game is stuck.

Leave with menu+quit (no crash) works every time; and when I reload and click "Next Day", sometimes(!) these quests are reset, and I can continue with the tavern. Haven't seen a pattern to it yet.

There is no output-log, but the Player-prev.log may help you (attached).

Hello! A very nice game but unplayable due to bugs.
EA build 1193, week 4
I got heroes up to 4 level. They are all healthy and rested for 2 days. I send them to a level 3 quest where all predictions on their abilities are good.
They pass an encounter with success but all fall unconscious. I try to return back and I can't, they keep receiving encounters - they lose as there is noone to pass but gain xp and items. But I can't breakthru to a save game so I quit.
Before that I also couldn't win a level 3 quest with all good predictions because of such unconsciosness but there only half team fell and I could return. So I can't proceed in the game further as only level 3-4 quests are left and I can't win them because of this strange unconscuiousness.
Upd: if it helps to reproduce, first when all team fell unconscious, I tried to go further, it was endless, then I went back.
The problem is that they fall unconscious withour reason.

Another lesser bug but still annoying:
when I try to free a space in the roster and dismiss a hero, there is a confirmation popup. Ok button works but doesn't close the window. So the first time I hit Ok, then Cancel, tried to dismiss again and again and then realized that I already dismissed all team while I wanted to dismiss only one hero.
