I had this game ages ago and loved it. Back then I also had a desktop PC and a flight stick.

Is it possible to use a mouse as controller for this game when flying?

I would love to try it again, especially with the mods, but I'm not going to buy a flight stick as I have a laptop now.

Just putting in my two cents here: I'm buying this game specifically because of the mods. There are some games on GOG that aren't complete without mods, and GOG does occasionally post official, cleaned up mod guides, but it could do better still.

Again, GOG's getting a sale from me specifically because this game is still actively modded, and this post just happened to spell out what I need to do to mod it. GOG should continue to spotlight games that are made that much better with updated mods.

Just wondering, GOG lists Apache/Havoc (EEAH) as Windows 7 capable, but EECH is only Windows XP/Vista.
If I'd buy the two, would EECH be installable with WIndows 7 at all ?

I have both, plus the latest Mods, running happily under Win7x64 - BUT!!!!! you have to install OpenAL first (do a search for it). I think I'm running on XPSP3 Compatibility Mode too, not certain.

Does the mod allow for 2 player multiplayer where one person is the pilot and the other the gunner in the same helicopter?

If you're installing Apache v Havok first, do you need to install both to the same directory?

I'd like to know the same. I have working gauges for the Havoc in the modded EECH, so where's the difference?

Where is a complete installation guide concerning EEAH and EECH?

Why do helicopters at ground sometimes jump?

Alt + F3 and ALT + F4 sometimes just don't work correctly until I press it more often.

Why are all cockpits except the Comanche's and Hokum's so bad, especially the Longbow's?


Nothing against tinkering, but there should be one version which works well and is realistic.

I installed mod like written in this topic (both game put in exact same directory, the one for Apache) and cockpits look good - just need to use maxfov (without it gunner cockpit for Longbow are bad, that's true)

Same here, I just made an account, but I can't log on and I'm "waiting for approval." I hope that doesn't take too long as I want to start playing this game but with all the mods.
