Nroug7: It ditches many of the concepts of the first 2, simplifies it into five ages and makes it much more simplistic. It may as well be called AoE: Timeline. But dont compare it to AoE, because atleast AoE Is more balanced and actually has good campaigns, not random people careering accross a poorly developed map.
Yea Empire Earth 2 & 3 and AOE is for fancy graphic kids, Empire Earth 1 is for the pro's :D.

In first game, AI didn't just cheat with resources, it also knew EXACTLY where you were even on fog of war map :P

And it had the same APM as esports players. I did an experiment. I created a 4v4 game, Nano start, slow pace, easy AI, 1200 total cap, and the main thing, I gave myself 20 starting workers while everyone else had just 1. By the time I got a granary, factories, etc and started to create units, the other AIs had TRIPLE my base size, flawless wall, and also had a full-scale army (About 50-150 units) out for attacking. And that's even though I had a massive advantage in building.

So yeah, they cheat really hard, and cheating AI ruins a game for me. Shame, I really liked the concept of the game.
