Patch 4 just launched for GOG, but DX12 is still probably a couple of weeks away.
Thank you, it've installed it but it doesn't contains the most important thing. I have no issues with NPC behaviour or some broken quests, but i really have just 30 FPS in some areas and this with a nVidia 3090, what is inacceptable.
It is really acceptable, that that graphics isn't lookign good, the small game studio need to set priorities, my phantasy need to workarround more arround this early 2000 year type of graphics. The gameplay and the story are really good on the orher hand, but i cant play with such bad frametimes and FPS below stable 60. So for now i waitng for DX12.

Hang in there, I'll post here as soon as I find out when DX12 is hitting GOG.
Finished the game today, now few more years for part III...

I'm trying to hold out for the DX12 patch to officially hit, but at this point I'm so close to the end I might just power through it and be done.

They said they're definitely planning on finishing the trilogy fwiw.

I did so, too. Overall I am not disappointed. The game didn't kickoff like the first one for me, but was pretty decent in the later chapters. Furthermore it was running well enough with a new graphic card. Though I had still hoped for a better performance.

The story also has some nice, at times bold, direction, though reactions of characters and factions are a bit ... underdeveloped for what's happening. But I am curious to see, how it turns out in the final installment.

I was happy to see it's easy enough to get all primary skills and attributes high enough. Of course you can't have all faction skills at once. It was a lot of fun mowing everything down in the end.

Good to know. Unfortunately, Dungeons and Dragons Online has a new expansion launching this coming week, so I'll probably be busy at least for a week or two.
Just discovered the DX12 patch has no eta for release recently. Not happy. On the verge of removing it permanently from my steam account.

I'm just... yeah.
Update from Zyddie, the community relations dev: They now have no faith in DX12 patch ever coming out of beta, or ever hitting GOG.

This is one I'd say for you GOG buyers you should raise your pitchforks and get the game removed from GOG if possible. It was released in a broken state, despite certain people on the steam forums claiming sub 30 fps is fine for a pc title in the 2020's.

Yes, you read that correctly. Absolutely no DX12 performance patch for GOG or any other outlet than Steam, and in that, only a beta build that's half broken.
