disi: 3. stamina is just an annoying nerf. I disabled stamina use entirely with a cheat and it is a much more rewarding experience. I can always run away if I move cleverly, I can always try to dodge, I can always attack.
How did you do this? I'd kill to be able to disable this annoyance.
I'd recommend using Cheat Engine in combination with a cheat table. Use this one, as it works with the current game version of gog: http://fearlessrevolution.com/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=5190

You'll have to activate it every time you start up the game though.

And you'll get much more than you asked for, of course. xD

That is true, but it is up to you what you enable or not.
The stamina fix works just fine.

It is still tough or sometimes impossible to kill something. That robot 7300, I put ~150 arrows/energy shells/bolts into it before it died and used some exploit by staying just out of range on some rock or had no chance whatsoever.

You can use cheat engine and get the CE file that has all the cheats activateable. Also look for mrantifun's trainer. It works well and has most of the cheats built in. He just creates cheat engine exe's but he is pretty good at it.

I second the recommendation for mrantifun's stuff. However, the trainers tend to produce false positives with virus scanners or even windows' own defender software. The stuff so far was clean, but it's a bit of an annoyance to keep windows from freaking out or outright deleting the tools.

Thanks, I'll check out the trainer. No idea how to use cheat engine, so I'll pass on that.

I usually don't trust the internet and precompiled trainers. There is lots of bad software out there, maybe 95% of those trainers install some bad software with you confirming the UAC access.
Even the official cheatengine installer has the bypass installation of a search engine, if you don't pay attention. But you only need to check once, the tables from fearlessrevolution.com are general safe and are merely scripts run by the engine.
I would rather have them rely on donations than doing those installer-tricks, this is why I won't link to the website.
targeting is goofy sometimes I have had trouble with it locking on non hostiles instead of what they are attacking, for example I lure a group of rats from Wick's house to Hunter's enclave and try and aid them in attacking the swarm but end up locking on the rogues instead of the rats and getting clobbered by the rogues after painstakingly luring the rats to them. VERY frustrating! either remove target lock entirely or make it intelligent enough to konw a friendly from an enemy!

Oh, absolutely! At the very least it should target hostiles before neutrals!

The Z/C lock-on switch buttons rarely work, in my experience- I end up having to disable lock-on completely with X and then just try to figure something out.

in the heat of combat those buttons rarely seem feezable at all as you are wanting to rely on reflex more than fumbling the z/c keys. unless you have a gamer keyboard. I had no trouble in gothic because there was no lock just pick and aim. and for the most part don't hit your friends.

I definitely had more trouble targeting in Gothic than I do here, no rose-colored glasses.

But the lock-on in this definitely has room for improvement.

no roses, gothic 2 no trouble at all, gothic 1 style controls some. hough it was tricky in melee not impossible.

why even bother wearing armor in this game. if you are hit even so much as once by any enemy your stamina drops to 0 and you cannot hit back until it builds. why not factor in armor class and constituoin scores to lower the drop in stamina not just lessening of hitpoints. your loosing them anyway because unless you dodge your craem cheese.

GOG would you PLEASE put this under --------- as a sparate post! this is not a reply!

naomha: So, Elex is a grand game. Full of fresh and great ideas that seem to be partially obscured by the things that need fixing. Things that most definitely need fixing asap.

1. Keyboard controls are wonky at best. This needs ironed out immediately to prevent player frustration and refunding of game.

2. Textures don't scale properly or even are made to match resolutions. Playing on a 21:9 monitor equals some really ugly textures on armor and weapons and set design elements. This is immersion breaking all the time. The game needs proper 2k and 4k textures applied or made available.

3. Map quest markers can get bugged frequently. Needs fixed asap.

4. Quests (especially end quests) can get bugged and fail to fire. Needs fixed asap.

5. Dodging while in combat. This is pitiful at times. This applies to keyboard controls as well. Wonky at best most of the time.

6. Lip synching. I don't expect a multi-million dollar studio's efforts for lip synching in a lower budget game. However, some of the scenes the lip synching is pretty horrible. Fixed if it can be.

7. PROPER HUD elements and menus scaled properly in a 21:9 resolutions. They appear stretched and oddly placed at times. Fixed if can be. Shouldn't be hard since the game does support Hor+ and supports the 21:9 resolutions.

8. Windows 10 Fall Update seems to have maybe broken the game on some systems. Compliance patch if possible for these people. and others.

9. Random loot. We need more loot. The Gothic games, the Risen games all had sporadic hand crafted loot available at most times. Elex seems to be lacking in this department. MORE LOOT.

10. Improve the crafting system. As is, it's kind of bad. Not horrible, not great, just mediocre at best.

11. Artifacting at times. Not sure what's causing this but there have been purple clouds to weird sky textures happening every once in awhile. Also, heat shimmer or enviroment shimmer causes cut scenes to behave oddly if the player character is too close to an NPC while having one. Causes bugs. Fixed asap.

12. Combat difficulty at times. While I'm not one to complain about difficult combat whatsoever, the combat, at times, in Elex is downright unfair sometimes. This needs balanced asap. Also, aggro range should be lessened with some mobs. Seems to be too unfair in their ability to "see" you when they shouldn't be allowed or even possible.

Feel free to add to this list if you've experienced something awry in your game.

My specs:
Asus Sabertooth 990FX R3.0
Win 10
EVGA GTX 1080 Hybrid
16GB Gskill Ripjaw
AMD 8350 BE
LG UWHD 36" @ 3440x1440
Logitech G510 keyboard
Logitech G502 Mouse
Logitech Z906 surround system
