The new patch is out on Steam for three days. Where can I get it? And no, I'm not using Galaxy.

Because I think Galaxy is not what GoG should all be about it.
If you choose "English" as the language for downloading in the drop-down-menu, the new patch will be listed... gog logic. Well, the patch is all-languages anyway.

I am using galaxy but I just checked the manual download and patch 1,1 is there, so idk wtf you talk about....
Patch 1.1 was the day one patch.
huh I was playing with day 1 patch and I had no exp from books, after I got 1.1 I started to get exp from books and notes, and that fix is clearly from last patch... so idk wtf u saying
From reading a different topic, the way they're naming patches has been a little wonky.

1.1 was indeed the day one patch, not sure what the current one is specifically called.
It is what @Unkalibriert said.

On the installers download screen, make sure to select ENGLISH as language. If any other language is selected, you won't see the latest patch. See screenshots below.

The latest patch actually is 1.0.2846.0. The patch 1.1 is the day one patch. Yes, they messed up the patch versions on GOG.

Finally I downloaded and applied the english patch, with says "Patch 1.0.2846.0 - 15808 -> 15973". It works just fine.

Still no german patch available beside the day1 patch (1.1)

And btw, the naming conventions of these relase versions are so confusing to me.

Dovah, check your game library in your browser. The new patch file should be listed there.

Same place that you downloaded the game from.

You're certainly entitled to your own opinion. Just be prepared to wait a bit longer for the manual patches--it's always been that way at GOG--nothing new there at all. Completely your choice. GOG has set it up so that game developers can load the patches into Galaxy themselves directly--so that they don't have to go through GOG. That's how Steam does it. That's why the Galaxy patches are present immediately. The manual patch takes some work from GOG to put it into a package GOG is happy with--hence it takes longer. As I said, it always has.

Galaxy is out of beta, you know. Works fine. It's always optional--you can still run your games directly from the executable without touching Galaxy at all. Want to download your up-to-date executable game copy to archive? No problem. Use Galaxy to update, and then when GOG has prepared and posted the manual patch, download it. I don't see a problem. Best of both. Steam does not provide executable installable game copies as GOG does.
