Hi,

When I attempt to install SimCity 2000: Special Edition, RollerCoaster Tycoon: Deluxe Edition, Earthworm Jim 1+2 and Earthworm Jim 3D, the default installation directory is:
C:\GOG Games\game_title

However when I try to change this to the same directory as all of my other gog.com games:
C:\Program Files (x86)\GOG.com (Good Old Games)\game_title

I am told:
Path contains illegal characters: .()

Is it possible to correct this issue, so that I may install the above games in the directory of my choice?

Thanks!

Edit: Never mind, GOG.com (Goold Old Games) technical support provided me with a solution that works perfectly...

"Some games require that the installation path doesn't contain specific characters (like dots). This restriction was placed in all installers, but later we decided that it will only be applied to game's that require it, an updated installer will not have this restriction.

As a workaround you could make a symbolic link and use it to install the game.

To make a symbolic link press WindowsKey + R type cmd and press OK.
In the newly opened command window type:
mklink /d C:\link "C:\Program Files (x86)\GOG.com"

Now in the installer use:
C:\link\SimCity 2000 Special Edition"
