Hey there, I just downloaded the game and the sound FX are not working, only the music is playing on EWJ1, EWJ2 is working fine though.
any suggestions on how to solve that?

Actually, from what I hear the SFX are actually working. It's just that the music is so loud and sound FX so low that it's as good as not noticeable.
So, anyone any idea how to turn down the music volume and turn up the SFX?

This is really weird. After trying a few things I just started up EWJ2 to see how it was there, all fine in that game. Then went back into EWJ and I got full SFX volume. Don't ask me how it fixed itself. :P

After a couple failures to get the sound effects working, I realized this possibility myself. Didn't work for me, though. Nor did launching EWJ2 first and then switching back.
Edit: Had to go into setup.exe and reconfigure the IRQ setting to 7 from its default of 5. Works now, yay.

I tried every one of those and it still hasn't helped. :(

Sweet jesus, this is nearly 3 years old. Anyway yeah I posted that before the EWJ pack got its 'update' that makes it easier to view the bonus videos, but which also in the process completely broke my ability to launch the games at all. Can't help you there!
