It is apparent from the title of the topic that I can`t beat Psy-Crow in level See Jim Run, Run Jim Run on Difficult setting. So I was wondering, if anyone has actually managed to pull it off. The only way to win this stage on hardest difficulty would be to hit all J power ups along the way, but they seem to be falling way too fast for Jim to pick them up. Some Js are optional, but the ones after the last fan (or rotor) are crucial to victory, because they enable you to skip the bouncing balls. So if some skilled player would kindly explain the exact timing of jumps and swings, I would be much obliged.

I had enough difficulty on "Normal" on this level. The precision and timing of moves on that was bad enough! Mind you, I may of done better with a game pad rather the keyboard.
(I assume one at least: Takes all swings, only use your normal gun, as others have too slow a reload and recover)
There are a few walkthrus on Youtube, but I could not find any of decent quality for this particular level and difficulty.

I can only just barely come close to winning, just a few feet behind Psy-Crow. I'm wondering if it's actually impossible.

I have, long ago on a (rented) SNES. After about a gazillion tries. You can't miss any boosts, and make sure you have plasma blasts to blow away whole chunks of those rotary things.
The ending, unlike EWJ1, does not change. I was rightfully PO'd. I think that was also the week I beat 7-UP Cool Spot on Hard, got 100%, and called in with the secret code, and found out the promotion had ended.

i remember when I was like 7 or 8 playin that level on Normal back on the PS1.. i dont know how I did it but I managed to win it.. and now im playing this game again after so long and im getting owned on the Puppy Love levels..

My most hated level.

I can't even beat it on normal without cheating. My bro beat it for me and the ending was funny but disappointing.
