Hi guys, don't know if anyone is here or if I will get any help but anyway.

I decided to put Earth 2150 on my PC and it installed and launches fine. But if I try to enter the construction center in game by hitting F1 or changing the hotkey to another key it crashes the game. Just wanted to know if there is a work around for this. If not oh well. thanks!
If the resolution is too high (1920x1080) the game crashes when opening construction center.
The second highest resolution I know where it works is 1680x1080

That fixed it!
This is happening for me also in all screen modes. I only recently downloaded the latest GOG install. Still trying various compatibility modes

Here is the error message I get if that helps:

Did you try running the game as administrator or where did you install the game and how?
With gog galaxy or drm free installers?
If installed in program files try another location.
And is this happening when you run the game or just when you open the construction center?
The exception code says something about ACCESS_VIOLATION

Hi Fonzer, thanks for replying! :)
I tired installing it in different places and setting various properties in the compatibility tab. After having a chat with GOG support I think the issue is AMD drivers. They just don't like this old game. The crash only happens when opening the F1 Construction window. I did (with GOG's help) finally manage to get the game to run in 1024x768 GL mode. If I try anything else or try and use any D3D mode it's a no go. So I guess I will just have to live with it, at least it works. This issue also effects the other 2150 games in the series too. :(

Well good that you got it working. I read on steam that you could also use nglide http://www.zeus-software.com/downloads/nglide

But don't ask me how to set it up or if it will work without crashing where you mentioned
dgVoodoo might also work but I haven't tested this.

Thanks for that Strijkbout, got to be worth a try! :)

EDIT: No, still crashes on the Construction window but it was worth a try though. Thanks anyways Strijkbout.

Hi,

Supported Aspect Ratio's:
4:3 or 16:10 are the only supported aspect ratio's unless you install the 3Dfx Wrapper, see here for 4:3 & 16:10 ratio's: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Computer_display_standard#XGA

the active player community on InsideEarth Discord will be able to help you with that question if you require; https://discord.gg/EvgQ8Dq
