As title says. In order to get the 1.01 patch I had to do some digging and due to the generosity of a fellow player was able download it manually and still have no real idea if it actually fixed anything right. Now there is a new patch out
(cannot link the website for some reason) and we do not have that. When is this issue going to be resolved. It is bad enough the game was buggy as hell when released. It is even worse that their are fixes that we cannot get. Please fix this asap!

Info is on the forum at the Snowbird Games - pinned posts from the lead deveoper at the top. That is the best place for bug reporting and patch info, not here. The posts say they are aware of the problems, have apologized, and are working on fixes. It is needless to say that they can't honestly answer your question of when, but hopefully they are in asap mode.
there are a few options on doing a manual update here

I would love to be able to post on there forums but for some reason they never send me a confirmation email. Is the latest patch already out?

Not for me either. Mind just hosting the damn patch somewhere?

Oh, and yeah, STEAM has 1.02 already.

The GOG version should receive the patch shortly.

"We're figuring out how to update the GOG version as soon as possible. Once it's settled, both versions of the game, including Steam one, should be updated at one time. "

I don't understand what the hold up for the patch is. Should I of spent my money over on steam instead of supporting gog? Am I to expect every patch to be like this? If you guys can not handle the work load of trying to patch the game on two different web sites stop selling it on one and focus on the other until you get your feet under you.

But he said that yesterday, before the steam update, so they wanted to release both at the same time. So I assume gog will be patched anytime now.

But you are right that you often get updates on steam faster, with Faster Than Light it took up to a week of waiting to get the patches here. A few hours delay would be pretty good compared to that.

Patches usually come out on time here, I have no idea what the reason for the delay is.
Snowbird is a small team though, that would explain quite a lot.
launched motbw, went to multiplayer, game launches updater to 1.0.2
the patcher stopped about 70% of unpacking, so i canceled it. found the zip file in incoming folder, unpacked and pasted it into eador directory. game says 1.0.2

journal entries gone, i have a shard count, but it didn't give me credit for all the tactician and strategist medals i've accrued in the campaign.... best title spectre heh. i guess it worked but maybe i'll restart campaign to make sure.

I can confirm that launching the multiplayer patches the game for me.

Here is the second patch in zip format. Unzip it directly to your Eador 2 directory and replace all existing files when asked. Be sure to make a backup of all the files before. It works fine with me, but prudence is always a virtue.
