Hello, I recently installed Eador MotBW and every time I go to start a new campaign i get the titular crash message. Does anyone know why this is happening and if there is a fix for it?

I have the same problem...

I haven't played for the last 4 years but now I try to play and the system is crashing once I select new campaign.

My system have changed in the meantime, but a game that is still on sale isn't expected to work in modern systems?

The weird thing is I also have this on steam and it works there, although I get extremely low performance in the steam version that make it unplayable.

I wish there was another way tho. I close the AV and forget to bring it back afterwards. Not a good time to be without AV.

Maybe you could set an exception to exclude the game from being scanned by Avast, instead of disabling the antivirus completely.
