Join us on our Discord server!

Discord is the best way to get quick help, suggest a new feature or report a bug - it will usually get addressed in few hours. You can check real-time development progress on our discord in the #realtime-development-updates channel.

There are a couple of things that make it more difficult to discuss here:

1. Majority of the community is not present here, so we are not getting any additional insight into proposals.
2. We don't get verbose enough notifications about new posts, so there are significant lags between the post and our reply.
3. There is no easy way to separate the proposals into threads, discuss them separately and vote for them separately.
4. Far more challenging to post media (drafts, images) here.
5. With the velocity of iteration we have on dV, we are usually discussing past here. Since you posted there were probadly already been 5 experimental releases, some of them covering points here was made, with a feedback-and-update loop after each of them.

You can easily treat our official discord as a forum. The proposals are threaded and there is absolutely no push to reply in real-time; in fact the other features, rather the real-time nature, is what drove us to use discord as our primary player communications channel.

State of development

ΔV: Rings of Saturn is feature complete right now, meaning that it contains all the game mechanics we wanted in the game, and nothing is missing, no placeholders and no dead ends. We are currently adding content to the game - new upgrades, new quests, new stories - and due to how the game is structured, everything we add will seamlessly integrate when you play. There is never a need to start the game from scratch, you can just play along, and new content will pop up when you play.

Game versions

The versions of the game we are pushing to GOG are rated as stable, meaning that they are well-tested and contain no game-breaking bugs. You can expect at least two updates each month.

We also publish an experimental branch, which you can access with the password "Experimental". The Experimental branch is usually as stable as the default one since our focus is on fixing all the bugs first and is updated multiple times a day. Check it out if you want to see all the latest features first. A changelog for the experimental branch is available on our discord in the #experimental-feedback channel.

Discord doesn't like my privacy-protecting add-ons, and is asking me to verify by phone. Ermm, yeah, nope!

So hopefully you'll check the forums every so often to provide feedback here as well.

edit: moved the remainder of the feedback over to the dedicated feedback thread

Hello Adrian__W and koderski!

Thank you for your presence and communication here in the GOG.com's subforum for the game.
Your straight-up information about the general "feature complete" state of your game and intention for further enhancements made me buy the game, already, even before the end of the "in Development" phase!

I bought the "dV: Rings of Saturn - Tungsten Edition" and am very pleased with the gameplay and its remarkable atmosphere!

Unfortunately, "Discord" is not an option for me either (for similar reasons as gogtrial34987 already explained).
Hence, I am giving you developers my feedback in GOG.com's game subforum.

[EDIT:]
I moved my feedback and suggestions regarding my initial experience with the game in version 0.385.7 to the newly created "Feedback and Bug Reports" thread.

Thank you again for communicating here with us!

Kind regards,
foxgog

[Edit 2: moved my feedback to the corresponding new thread]

What if you can't get on DISCORD because of their Crazy verification system that they implemented since my last access. They Need to verify by cell phone, and my cell phone is not connecting to anything right now. I'm really stuck.
