- Gimbaled thrusters and torches will now return to their resting position again.
- Fixed a leak that flooded logs and degraded performance when exiting to the main menu and starting another game.
- Fixed EMP shielding on AT-K225 (which should not have any) and misaligned microwave effect when hit with microwaves.

Feedback Focus: Still looking for feedback on performance.
0.518.16 just hit the experimental branch, featuring:
- Added additional fallback to distant flare rendering on visual feed, flares should now be visible everywhere in the rings.
- The trajectory calculation timer will now reset when you pick another destination while it is performing the calculation.
- Adjusted airlock location on AT-K225 for better EVA immersion.

Feedback Focus: Release candidate. Please report anything worse than the current default branch.
0.518.19 just hit the experimental branch, featuring:
- Adjusted physics model on the EIME to prevent the cargo bay doors from sticking open.
- When re-visiting Uranium Caves or the Space Bar, you won't hear the mystery music when you approach, and a correct waypoint will be updated, instead of discovering a new Moonlet.
- Fixed SPC Gungnir listed projectile velocity to match the actual value.
- Adjusting the minimum price on the geologist tab will not cause the entire interface to resize slightly.
- Separate printing audio for the Voyager MPU.
- Increased drone print speed of the Voyager MPU.
- Equipment menu performance improved on the Enceladus Station.
- Improved game loading time.
- Discovering a point of interest will now immediately place it on your astrogation map.
- Drive flares stopped showing up on the visual feed when you spent many in-universe days on your dive.
- Updated translations.

Feedback Focus: Release candidate. Please report anything worse than the current default branch.
0.519.0 just hit the experimental branch with a bonus feature:
- Drone range and function visualizer for Tuning menu. You can now see visually what the drone ranges look like and how your haul drones will move ore around your ship.

Feedback Focus: New tuning visualization.
0.519.1 just hit the experimental branch, featuring:
- New heuristic for haul drone proximity buffer, better at removing ore from behind the ship and not sporting any deadlocks.
- Increased resolution of drone visualizer in Tuning.

Feedback Focus: Release candidate. Please report anything that's worse than in the stable branch.
0.520.1 just hit the experimental branch, featuring:
- New haul drone tuning option - configurable deceleration zone.
- Haul drone simulation in the Tuning menu will now open and close the excavator to highlight drone behaviour.
- Changed default deceleration zone to make haul drones more proactive at long range.
- Updated translations.

Feedback Focus: Release candidate. Please report anything worse than the current default branch.
0.520.3 just hit the experimental branch, featuring:
- Fixed grinder sound being incorrect when time slowed down, both during adrenaline and with OMS open.
- AT-K225 docking bays are now bigger, so cargo containers hosted inside are less likely to bang and damage your ship even if you fly recklessly.
- Flying a ship that has a fly-by-wire autopilot but is powered down will now count towards the "Driving Stick" achievement.
- Miners that you encounter on the rim of the rings will now be less greedy and more likely to just pass by you, instead of mining around you.
- Fixed some typos.

Feedback Focus: AT-K225.

Extra content: Tales from the Rings free DLC expanded with AT-K225 3d model and ship paint template.
0.520.4 just hit the experimental branch, featuring:
- Miners are now aware of your claim beacons and will not challenge your claim when you have a beacon deployed.
- Prospector HUD will not cover up the dialogue screen when mounted on a ship with a lot of equipment, like AT-K225.

Feedback Focus: Miner interactions.
0.520.5 just hit the experimental branch, featuring:
- When choosing keyboard+mouse controls in the Settings menu, gamepads and similar devices won't be able to scroll through menus with analogue controls. This prevents steering wheels and similar devices from interfering with game menus.
- You won't be able to enter the OMS menu while the astrogation cutscene is still paying.
- Injured and sick mechanics won't fix your ship anymore.
- When performing trade in the rings just after you had an on-screen notification, the trade notifications would appear multiple times.

Feedback Focus: Release candidate. Please report anything behaving worse than in the current stable branch.
0.521.0 just hit the experimental branch, featuring:
- New hardware: NDPDMD

Feedback Focus: New hardware. As this is an experimental release, it is likely that the NDPDMD will be re-balanced in subsequent updates, based on the feedback I get from you. It might be boosted, nerfed, locked behind a story, etc. If this prospect bothers you, remember to back up your saves!
0.521.2 just hit the experimental branch, featuring:
- Fixed display of SPC Gungnir
- NDPDMD's selling price is now equal to its purchase price, fixing the infinite money loop problem.

Feedback Focus: Still looking for feedback on NDPDMD. Warnings from the previous release still apply.
0.521.4 just hit the experimental branch, featuring:
- NDPDMD fitted in front slots of most ships will point forward.
- Some point defence weapons - most notably the NDPNMD and Obonto Habitats PDMWG - were fitted with camera-based safety protocol. They will try to avoid firing on unintended targets. The system is not foolproof and misfires can still happen.
- Simulations of point defence hardware upgrades and tuning will now present a constant hail of targets for the weapons to engage with.
- Extra logging options to pinpoint space folding errors which result in entities that should not travel with you through astrogation. If you encounter such an event, please supply your logs for examination.

Feedback Focus: Still looking for feedback on NDPDMD. Warnings from the previous release still apply.
0.522.1 just hit the experimental branch, featuring:
- NDPDMD rebranded to NDPT-4205 Point Defence Turret
- Fixes for actuated weapons firing erratically and being stuck in a fire mode.
- Performance upgrades for Dynamic Temporal Simulation Simplification - make it way more useful if you choose a physics framerate that exceeds your total computing capability and reduces lag spikes when you encounter huge explosions.
- Borderless window mode on Windows will now actually use a borderless window, bypassing an engine limitation that caused full-screen borderless windows to be overridden silently by exclusive full-screen mode. This can affect GPU performance and will fix a number of issues with screen capture software. If you'll experience performance concerns in this build, please switch to fullscreen mode.
- NDPT-4205 safety protocol now relies on radar scan instead of visual identification, allowing the PDT to shoot through ice that obscures its current target.
- NDPT-4205 safety protocol can now be disabled in the Tuning menu. Nakamura Dynamics takes no liability for damage inflicted upon yourself when operating NDPT-4205 with safeties disabled.
- Fixed a line of sight being projected from the wrong point for NDPT-4205 safety protocols.
- Updated translations.

Feedback Focus: Still looking for feedback on NDPDMD. Warnings from the previous releases still apply. Additionally, there is a number of performance and rendering changes in this build, please report any rendering/performance quirks.

Feedback Focus: Bounty-hunting combat patrols.
0.523.2 just hit the experimental branch, featuring:
- Point defence systems safety feature will now consider an excavator of ship it is trying the shoot as an equally valid target as the entire ship.
- You won't have access to NDPT-4205 by default now. You need to unlock them with a (relatively simple and common) quest.
- Additional dialogue options when talking to miners.
- Additional dialogue options with Obonto Habitats
- Adjusted disposition changes with Obonto Habitats from trading.
- Updated translations.

Feedback Focus: Release candidate. Please report anything working worse than the current stable branch.
